The MITA TechTalks 2017 and The Pale Blue Dot invite you to join us in providing solar energy to a rural school in Nayarit, Mexico. Light up education, and you illuminate possibilities.
As we come together at MITA TechTalks 2017 to celebrate the successes and discuss the opportunities for tech innovation in Mexico, let’s not forget those who do not enjoy the same benefits as we do – those without electricity, without light in their schools.
We’re Rallying to support the installation of solar power in one school in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. Won’t you join us?
ABOUT THE PALE BLUE DOT: The Pale Blue Dot is a Mexican non-profit committed to providing solar energy to rural schools in off-grid communities in Mexico. In Mexico, around 18,000 schools lacks access to electricity.
Our prospect schools in Nayarit lie within the Municipality of El Nayar on the northeastern portion of the state, a region of indigenous Coras and Huicholes. El Nayar is a sparsely populated mountainous region where the largest town has no more than 1,700 people.
The communities we seek to work with are deep within the territory, a minimum of 7 hours from Puerto Vallarta, none of which have access to energy.
Your contribution will directly benefit children and communities of this beautiful region by providing light to the school and converting classrooms into community centers.
Help us light a school in this region. 1 school: $ 4,000.00 USD
Thank you, Joanie for your generous contribution to The Pale Blue Dot, and to helping bring solar-powered light to a rural school in Nayar... your support is greatly appreciated! #MITATechTalks drive for The Pale Blue Dot!
