The name Felicity literally means "the ability to find appropriate expression for one's thoughts", and aptly describes her life as well as her passion for photography. When she first discovered a lump in her left breast in December, she had to put aside her focus on artistic expression in order to focus on recovery.
Felicity was first diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) breast cancer in February. Since then, Felicity has undergone a successful partial mastectomy (lumpectomy), fertility preservation, 6 weeks (30 sessions) of radiation, and has now begun hormone therapy (Tamoxifen for 10 years) and ovarian suppression (Lupron for 3 years).
Ultimately our goal is to help Felicity through her recovery process by contributing to this fund, helping minimize her medical bills and living costs. With frequent doctors' appointments for treatment, check-ups, and therapy, it is difficult to find the support (financial, emotional, physical, spiritual) that she needs to ensure a recovery that marks a complete eradication of cancer cells. Let's get Felicity back behind the camera by giving her the extra boost she needs to ensure a successful recovery, a full recovery.
